SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Cleanser is a high-concentration, soft-foaming gel face wash formulated to exfoliate, brighten, and refine skin texture with every cleanse. Powered by an 8% glycolic free acid value derived from sugar cane, combined with 1% phytic acid, aloe leaf juice, and glycerin, this daily exfoliating cleanser removes oil, dirt, debris, and long-wear makeup while stimulating the skin's natural exfoliation process — delivering a noticeably clearer, smoother, and more luminous complexion without stripping moisture.

Key Ingredients +
8% Glycolic Acid (Free Acid Value) — derived from sugar cane, this AHA stimulates the skin's natural exfoliation process, minimizes the buildup of dead skin cells, and improves the appearance of texture, tone, and radiance 1% Phytic Acid — naturally found in legumes and seeds, this dual-action ingredient provides additional exfoliation and brightening by inhibiting skin aggressors that cause dullness Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract — a cooling, moisturizing botanical with soothing properties that works synergistically with other calming ingredients to counterbalance the exfoliating actives Glycerin — a vegetable-derived humectant that attracts and binds water to the skin, preventing moisture loss during the cleansing process
How To Use +
Twice daily, gently massage a small amount onto a wet face. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. In the morning, follow with a vitamin C serum and sunscreen. In the evening, follow with a corrective serum or moisturizer.
Best For +
Normal, oily, combination, and acne-prone skin · Dullness and uneven texture · Rough or congested skin · Early signs of aging · Patients who want an active cleanser that works harder than a basic wash
Provider Tip +
Our go-to recommendation for patients who want to work an exfoliating step into their routine without adding another product. The glycolic acid is active enough to make a real difference in texture and radiance, but because it rinses off, it's well tolerated even by patients who are also using retinol or corrective serums. A great entry point for patients new to acids.
